Problem

How do I restart the EvTrack Service?

Solution

Restart the EvTrack Server via Windows Task Manager or by running "evtrack-service-restart.bat" as Administrator for the SMTP Server Settings to take effect.

OR

Problem

Server is slow to response via Web Interface and EvTrack Guard is timing out/offline

Solution

Confirm that the server is able to resolve the reverse DNS lookup of the Client

  1. Make sure that LAN IP Address has a valid reverse DNS
  2. Alternatively add static host entries to /etc/hosts
