Windows Firewall Configuration
Step by Step instructions on how to configure Windows Firewall to permit access to EvTrack Server for Onsite Deployments. Please Note:
- Web Service is listening on port 8080 by default and optionally on 8443 if https is configured.
- Tattile LPR XML Service is listening on port 32000 and is only required if the Tattile devices are configured.
Instructions
- Create a new firewall rule:
- Open Windows Firewall Advanced Settings
- Right-click on Inbound Rules and Select New Rules.
- Select “Port”
- Select “TCP” and “Specific local ports”, enter “8080, 8443, 32000”
- Select “Allow the connection” Action
- Specify the profiles for which this rule applies to:
- Provide a name for the rule: “EvTrack Web Service”
Annex A:
- Open Windows Firewall Advanced Settings and
