Windows Firewall Configuration

Step by Step instructions on how to configure Windows Firewall to permit access to EvTrack Server for Onsite Deployments. Please Note:

  • Web Service is listening on port 8080 by default and optionally on 8443 if https is configured.
  • Tattile LPR XML Service is listening on port 32000 and is only required if the Tattile devices are configured.

Instructions

  1. Create a new firewall rule:
  2. Open Windows Firewall Advanced Settings
  3. Right-click on Inbound Rules and Select New Rules.
  4. Select “Port”
  5. Select “TCP” and “Specific local ports”, enter “8080, 8443, 32000”
  6. Select “Allow the connection” Action
  7. Specify the profiles for which this rule applies to:
  8. Provide a name for the rule: “EvTrack Web Service”

Annex A:

  1. Open Windows Firewall Advanced Settings and
  2. Right-click on Inbound Rules and Select New Rules.

  1. Select “TCP” and “Specific local ports”, enter “8080, 8443, 32000”

  1. Select “Allow the connection” Action

  1. Specify the profiles for which this rule applies to:
