By Role
Start with the page for the work you do. Each one walks through the tasks of that role, in the order you meet them, and links to the detailed pages for each step.

Missing a menu or a button?
EvTrack hides what your role may not use, rather than greying it out. Only the Dashboard and your own user menu are always there. Everyone with the same role sees the same product, so compare with a colleague in another role. If the same thing appears for some locations and not others, see the next table.

The location decides who is asked
Most work in EvTrack belongs to a location. When something “went to the wrong person”, check the location first.
| What you see | Usual cause |
|---|---|
| A manager did not receive an approval request | The request is for a location they do not manage |
| A report is missing a site | The report’s location or date filters leave it out; reports can cover every location |
| A visitor used the wrong registration link | Each location has its own link; a host with several locations picked another one |
| Someone unexpected approved a visit | That location’s managers are not who you assumed |
Who to ask
| Problem | Ask |
|---|---|
| A missing menu or field, access to another location, the reports permission | Your administrator |
| Login through SSO, your device | Your own IT support |
| Your EvTrack password, a locked or expired account | I forgot my password on the login page, or your administrator |
| Something you have permission for that does not work | EvTrack support at support@evtrack.com |
When you write to support, include your name and location, the visitor’s name or the pass, the date and time, what you were trying to do and what happened instead, and a screenshot of any error.
